Meaning Fringe

Reinventing Work @ Meaning: Friday 15 November, 13.30 - 16.00

Reinventing Work is a global grassroots movement for people interested in more human-centred, purposeful and self-organised ways of working. It began in Bristol in 2018, has since spread to over 20 cities on five continents, and has a thriving online community. Every month ‘reinventers’ come together to share experiences, experiment with new ways of working, and discuss how we can put it into practice in our own lives.

Mark Eddleston and Mike Dunn are two of the co-founders, and we’d love to help Meaning Fringe attendees start a Reinventing Work chapter wherever you live! So we're running a one-off Reinventing Work special geared towards helping you start a chapter in your town or city, whether that’s in Brighton or further afield. We'll also share a few of the highs and lows from Reinventing Work’s first 18 months.

Reinventing Work is a truly self-managing, decentralised community. We have no fixed leaders, no destination, and no strategy beyond our purpose: to make work better, one place at a time. We do it not because we want to make money from it, but because we want to help our members model and develop ways of working fit for the future.
